Window Film Information

A warranty is the manufacturer’s written promise for a defined product and installation under stated conditions. The current written terms control—not a sales summary or an assumed industry practice.

Separate forms of coverage

  • Film product replacement, removal labor, reinstallation labor, glass breakage, and insulating-glass seal failure may be separate.
  • Do not describe one category as though it automatically includes the others.

Eligibility

  • Coverage can depend on property type, region, authorized installation, compatible glass, pane size, installation side, edge sealing, preapproval, and registration.
  • Coverage periods can differ by product family and application.

Records

  • Retain the proposal, invoice, product code, roll or lot number, installation date, square footage, glass notes, approval, registration, and written warranty.
  • A customer handout is not a substitute for the manufacturer warranty.

Claims

  • Follow the written notice period and claim route.
  • Photograph the condition and avoid diagnosing glass, seal, frame, or installation failures solely from a general web page.

Ownership and changes

  • Confirm whether coverage transfers to a new owner and whether removal, replacement, alterations, cleaning, sealants, or attachments affect it.
